Play is a sound player that supports a wide variety of audio formats, including: MP3, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, AAC, Musepack, WavPack, Monkey's Audio, and Apple Lossless.

It is characterized for carrying out an accurate reproduction of songs after processing all audio files with the precision of 32 bits, regardless of the number of bits of the files.

It includes a search similar to the one in iTunes that locates any song based on the information in the metadata.

It also comes with support for playlists, which provides the possibility to create 'smart lists' that allows songs to be automatically added to one directory.
